Bet On Yourself
I have a small business, The Lassiter Firm, LLC, and 1:1 consultations is an option for clients who want to talk about their career journey and professional goals. I often find that the biggest barrier to someone taking a chance on a great opportunity is a lack of confidence.
Imagine this: You have multiple degrees and credentials, evidence of professional milestones, and great references. You have letters behind your name and, perhaps, an award or two.
Look at how great you are! Why would you ever doubt your greatness!
BRAG ON YOURSELF. BET ON YOURSELF. BE YOUR BIGGEST CHEERLEADER.
Don’t close the door on a great opportunity. You’ll only leave another door wide open for someone else … someone who might not even be on your level. You work hard and deserve everything that comes with it.
Women are socially conditioned to believe we should be meek, quiet, and over-accommodating.
WHY THOUGH. Who does this benefit? Not you.
There is nothing wrong with confidence. You have the proof (reread the second paragraph), so get what’s yours!
Arrogance is the evidence of nothingness. Anybody can talk that talk.
But you’re putting in the work. Don’t hold yourself back from being great. Being mediocre is not your standard.
Choose you.
